Another week, another game with barely 11 players… but once again, this team showed exactly what we’re made of!

We went into half time 1–0 down, but rather than dropping our heads, we listened, regrouped and made some big adjustments as a team. Whatever was said at half time clearly worked, because the second half was a completely different story!

Two goals, just 10 minutes apart!

Armi got us back on level terms with a great open-play goal, before Grace found the back of the net to put us 2–1 up!

The game got pretty… fiesty at times, with a few elbows flying around and some very questionable umpiring decisions!! Let’s just say there was a lovely shove in the back for one of us, and our captain may have earned herself the “Jacket of Shame” for having a little too much to say to the umpire! ?‍♀️

Despite all of that, we fought for every ball, battled right until the final whistle and never gave up. The communication, teamwork and willingness to adapt in the second half made a huge difference.

Absolutely deserved — and even more excitingly, Martha is making her 1st XI debut this weekend!

A proper team performance, a brilliant comeback and another reminder that this group will never stop fighting!
