This Saturday was the first game back to hockey for the 4’s - a new captain and a new league, everyone was so happy and excited to finally be back together!
The 4’s were so grateful for the lovely 5’s team for stepping up and coming to play with the 4’s…without them we wouldn’t have been able to get a team out.
After nearly being soaked by old Loughts watering system we came with fire ready to attack the season head on and with that Old Loughts seemed rumbled. We fought hard the whole time, but with no subs, countless injuries, people playing out of their normal positions and the sun beaming down on us we unfortunately took an 8-0 loss!
This was not a true reflection of the game…the defence worked tirelessly to keep the ball out of the D, Sue was on fire as always, the mids were attacking hard, running back and forth and the forwards were always heading straight for the goal, but the game was just not on our side this week!
Onto next week where we play Havering at home…let’s show Havering what the 4’s are about !
